NHS waiting list shoots to ANOTHER record high of 7.21M
So, an extra £14 billion has achieved an even greater waiting list and now means almost 50% of people requiring urgent cancer treatment are being failed.
For the first time ever, nearly half of cancer patients didn’t start treatment within 2 months of an urgent GP referral. Only 54.4% of patients started their treatment within two months of an urgent GP referral, this means more than 7,000 cancer patients were let down in January and figures will continue to grow.
